Rating: TV-R

Number of Players:  5 max

Table: NLB Saturday 12:30PM

The Hammer and the Stake is a new stand-alone tabletop roleplaying game with a core mechanic that focuses on player cooperation and wagering to overcome obstacles.

A fantastic alternate history setting: Following the Great War and the disastrous Treaty of Trianon, Count Dracula engineers a fascist vampire-coup in Hungary and Romania and establishes himself as the autocrat of the newly created Nagy-Magyarország ('Greater Hungary').

Brave socialist freedom insurgents work to overthrow Dracula's despotic-aristocratic regime. The threat is very real, Dracula's magic is powerful enough to make manifest the worst fears of Marx.

Understand that time is of the essence. If Dracula's minions are left unchecked, the people will literally lose their identities and become lumpenproles - beaten down degenerate servants of the Dracula regime.

You play one of the heroic socialists fighting to liberate the people from both the invisible hand of Adam Smith as well as bloodsucking vampire overlords.

Plot - Motel Massacre aka Where's Pat 2.0

Inspiration: Investigate and Survive

Pat said she would drive and an overnight kegger at the Mirage Motel seemed like a no brainer.
Everyone had a blast, lots of Drinking games and Partying - Norman the Desk Clerk did not seem to mind and even stayed for a drink.

After midnight everyone went back to their rooms. Pat and Amber had Room 1 and everyone else crashed in Room 2.

Then the screaming from Room 1 started.

Amber was found dead - brutally stabbed in the shower and Pat is missing along with her car keys. Norman the Desk Clerk  is nowhere at all and the entire Motel just lost electricity - phones are dead.

There is a flickering light on at the Old House on The Hill though…

Ever wanted to co-star in a Coen Brothers film? Fiasco is a GM-less roleplaying game where you play out ridiculously comedic and often disastrous cinematic stories of greed, lust, betrayal, and epic failure. No dice, paper, or preparation is needed, just the desire to create a hilarious and unforgettable adventure where things will probably end poorly for everyone.

Game: You And Your Friends (Have Been Turned Into Bears And The Only Way To Turn Back Is To Do All These Odd Jobs About Town)

Contact: Ben Eastman - eastmabl@alumni.lemoyne.edu

Rating: TV-14

Number of Players: 5 max

Table: F / Sunday 12:30PM

It's a perfectly normal Tuesday and you have awoken from unsettling dreams to find yourself changed into a monstrous creature.

Specifically, you are now a bear.

Unfortunately, this transformation is likely the consequence of that forbidden hotspring you swam in, or that enchanted cake you ate, or the curse that was laid upon your family several generations prior.

You're not sure. It's already been kind of an eventful week.

Fortunately, there's probably a way out of this. Your town has an old temple---frankly it's a miracle it hasn't been torn down by real estate developers---and legend holds that if you pray hard enough for someone there, you can force a change in their luck.

Of course, you've been turned into a bear. That's pretty bad, and one person praying probably isn't going to be enough to reverse that. But if you can get everyone in your town to pray at the temple for you, that might work.

Unfortunately, everyone is pretty busy. They've got lives to attend to, children to mind, shops to run. They want to help you with your bear problem, it's just...can't you see a doctor for it or something?

The only doctor who'll see you right now is the veterinarian, and you're not interested in that, so clearly you'll have to take drastic measures to win everyone over.

You're going to have to take some of the work off of everyone's plates.
To that end, you've gotten yourself a little hand-lettered sign, and you've made yourself a uniform.

Your first day as an odd-jobs-bear begins now.
